Here is what a few of Julie's students have to say:
Please expect to hear from me soon & also know that you have made a huge difference in the life of both Turner & me!!!
Thanks,
Cinnamon Schlater

Girls, I am not one to get very excited, but Julie left my house last night after her second "session" with Bounty and me and it was the first time that he had stood absolutely still for blanketing and saddling (ground tied) since I got him a year ago!!
This lady truly works! In her words we are "peeling back the onion, layer by layer," that is Bounty - a very smart, light, very sensitive and of course very complex horse. We talk alot about thresholds, wrong answers, and release.
Julie is teaching me how to read my horse, and to truly be his leader. No question is too stupid, and Julie is totally hands on, which I need. She treats Bounty with respect and dignity, and she is helping me to help him overcome his fear and mine and I KNOW that this beautiful horse is going to be awesome!
I am sure that she will help you with just about any horse situation, and she is VALUE FOR MONEY! thanks Julie!

After years of being away from horses (2yrs) interspersed with a ride here and there, I purchased a horse and wanted to do things differently then I had done as a youngster on horseback. I had heard of natural horsemanship and was interested to find out what this entailed. I so wanted to be a partner with my horse and yet I was clueless where to start. So, I took a few lessons here and there which did not fit my idea of what I had heard about natural horsemanship.
I heard about a woman named, Julie Eskoff, who came highly recommended from a trusted, and dear friend of mine. I went to see her work with another student and horse. And without a doubt I felt that Julie was the person that I needed for lessons. Julie was definitely the one that would be able to take me to those places with my horse that I had only heard and dreamed about.
Julie started out watching me with my horse and evaluating what would be the best way to tailor her teachings so that it would benefit me and my horse in the best way.
The groundwork that she taught me showed just how important this is for the overall building of the relationship and communication with our horses. Julie truly teaches the understanding of OUR responsibility for our horses behavior (Play with your horse) Work on yourself!!
As I learned more and was able to ride and feel more confident, Julie was able to see that it was time to push me a little bit knowing that I was ready for this.
This was one of the most important things that Julie gave me. I found that I was so much more capable then I ever thought I could be. And I must say It gave me and extreme high on life.
Julie has a unique ability to sense the rider's ability at different times while giving each client lessons and with this gift she allows her students to fulfill their inner and outer confidence and expand it not only with horses but with oneself.
Thank You Julie-You are a gift
For the belief you had in me until I was able to have my own and trust the confidence that I had gained. You taught me to watch, listen and hear what horses are telling us in their language.
This has opened up a whole new avenue of learning about myself.

After trying to halter my horse without a "cookie" each time I wanted to ride him I finally called on Julie to come and help me. My horse and I were at the point of no return. Every time I tried to walk up to my horse with the halter in hand he would walk away and I would follow him around in circles (frustration at its peak). The only way I could get the halter on this horse was with a "cookie".
Julie came and within 20 minutes she was able to show me how to get my horse to turn his head to me and stand facing me. It was a wonderful feeling to finally be able to walk up to my horse pet him and put the halter on. Julie held a private clinic for 2 days with me and I am so grateful for the many things she taught me. One of the most important things she taught me was how to read my horse and to practice being polite, passive, and persistent. This made such a huge difference in my relationship with my horse.
I will ever be grateful to Julie for her knowledge, kindness and love she showed me and my horse. Not only is she my "personal trainer" but we have made a lasting friendship. I can call on Julie anytime I need advise or run in to a problem with my horse and she will tell me what to do and why. I then take that knowledge out to my horse and do what Julie says - TA DA - problem solved! Thanks Julie for being you!

Julie is a master at building confidence. She has a unique ability to get to the heart of the problem, dissect it, and give you the tools to overcome your obstacles. Her insight and techniques are invaluable for anyone interested in creating a positive relationship between horse and rider.

I wanted you girls to know that yesterday I had my first lesson with Julie and she is wonderful!!
She is the answer to my prayers!! I was looking for someone who could teach me the basics, and help me get it down, right. I have found that I was truly misguided by last trainer. But Julie knows her stuff and we saw results within the short amount of time. It was so much fun, I truly enjoyed it. I left there with the new techniques and can't wait to put them to practice. She knows a horse's body languages and how they think and how to interact with them so that way you don't get hurt. I loved it!! I can't wait to go do another lesson!!
Thank you so much Julie!!
